ardeay | In general, i wonder a lot about them being a double edge sword. I'm thinking of running a legacy BW knight deck with 4-6 equipment and 8 artifact lands. The benefit being of puresteel paladin metalcraft free equip and dispatch. This isnt the deck idea, more of an underlying combo. With the all the artifact hate, i could see it going towards the lands before equipment drops or the train gets rolling. Aside from the deck idea, what are your thoughts on artifact lands?

Volcanon | What's the benefit in you running them in the first place? |

Whoops: The benefit of puresteel paladin for card draw and free equip. |

They don't help card draw. You draw off of equipment not artifacts and you don't need metalcraft to get the draw. |

I'll rephrase that to: pure steels metal craft ability, an potential to main board dispatch

mm1983 | Playing mox opal/diamond would also allow you to do turn 2 vindicate or mortify. |
stu55 | There is a post for stuff for this |
WeedIan | Don't think there is anything wrong with running the Artifact lands. It would be hurt by the same hate as affinity. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 11000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 13th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

hilikuS | If you're good enough on colored mana to do it, run 4 Darksteel Citadel. Gives you the extra artifacts without having to worry about them getting destroyed. |
